Aid Station volunteers
The Aid Stations are the most sought-after volunteer positions for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Take pride as a member of this exclusive volunteer team that keeps participants hydrated and motivated throughout every step of their 26.2 mile journey!
Aid Station volunteer opportunities are reserved for groups. Per the instructions from your group leader, click on the Aid Station below to access your group’s registration. Then, click “sign up” next to the shift with your group’s name.
All volunteers are required to register online individually by Monday, October 1, 11:59 p.m.
Course adjustments were made in 2018 that affected the numbering of the aid stations. Please note that while the number of your aid station may have changed, the location may be relatively the same as it was in 2017.
New volunteer groups
If you are interested in bringing a group of volunteers, please complete the group leader application. Please note, returning volunteer groups will be given priority. In addition to the Aid Stations, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon offers various volunteer opportunities in Grant Park.

Each aid station is led by a dedicated and skilled captain that manages volunteers and operations. Find your captain’s contact information by logging in to your volunteer account and visiting the “Contacts” tab.
