Race day individual volunteer opportunities include the start corrals, information team, course marshals and post-race party beer. Volunteer registration for the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon closed on Friday, October 4, 11:59 p.m. Central Time. Unregistered individuals will not be permitted to volunteer.
The aid stations are the most sought-after volunteer positions for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Join the exclusive volunteer team that keeps participants hydrated and motivated throughout every step of their 26.2-mile journey.
Please note that volunteers are expected to stay for the entirety of the shift and will check-in directly at the aid station. Shift and location details are listed on the registration form.

Course marshals ensure the course stays clear of spectator and vehicle traffic, and act as a source of information about the event and surrounding area.
