PACKET PREPARATION
The 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon is just around the corner and we are looking for volunteers to help prepare participant packets with bibs and safety pins on September 18, 19 and 20. The packet preparation process is relatively easy and fun. Join our team to help prepare for one of the largest, most anticipated running events of the year!
Volunteer registration
Volunteers must register for packet preparation in advance of the scheduled shift.
Event details
Coffee and light breakfast will be served in the morning. Lunch or dinner will be served after each shift. Snacks and refreshments will be available throughout the day. While we try to provide a range of food items, we cannot guarantee that meals will accommodate all dietary restrictions.
Please note that the event is held in a warehouse environment. We suggest dressing for warm conditions and planning ahead to stay comfortable throughout your shift. We recommend that you avoid bringing valuables and larger items (bags, backpacks, etc.).

Packet preparation will take place at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon’s warehouse.

Volunteer Rewards
All volunteers will receive volunteer reward points when they check-in to volunteer. Reward Points can be redeemed for an array of items including Bank of America Chicago Distance Series branded merchandise, Nike running shoes and a complimentary entry to the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
