As we navigate this unique time, we recognize the journey may look different this year, but we are here for you every step of the way. As you start to think through your training plan, we encourage you to keep the following considerations in mind.
- The official training plan is a guide. Listen to your body over the 18-week training window and adapt the program to meet your specific needs.
- Consult your physician before you start training. If your health has been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) or changes during training, work with your physician to determine if and when it is safe to resume running.
- Follow guidance from local government and public health officials to safely train in your community.
