Train with Nike+

It is now time to mark the official kick-off to training for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Forty-five thousand participants from all 50 states and more than 100 countries are beginning to log miles on their journey toward the start line.

The Nike+ Official Bank of America Chicago Marathon Training Program is designed to help you race your best on October 12.

Nike running coaches have developed three downloadable, adaptable training programs: “Finish Strong” for experienced runners who have already logged miles in the past few weeks, now making their marathon debut, “Beat Your Personal Record” for intermediate runners, and “Smash Your Personal Record” for advanced runners.

Each training program provides a calendar with suggestions for weekly mileage, cross training and rest days, and is designed for experienced runners of varying abilities. If a program does not meet your fitness level, we encourage you to customize the program to your specific training needs or talk with a doctor or coach.
