Request an exception

Thank you for completing the online form indicating your interest to defer your place and entry fee to the 2023 event. Please note, this unique policy only applies to participants who cannot participate due to a positive COVID-19 test within 10 days of the event.

All requests are reviewed and verified by the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Upon completion of this process (which can take up to 10 business days), participants will receive an email indicating the status of their request.
