2020 Bank of America Chicago Marathon Virtual Experience programming

Monday, October 5 It’s hard to imagine October without the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and even harder to imagine a year without road races. The coronavirus pandemic has impacted our lives in so many ways, and while we’re reminded now more than ever the importance of staying physically active, we’re also realizing the significance of flexing our mental muscle. Learn about mastering mental skills techniques from elite athlete Jake Riley, debut marathoner Crystal Rosales and Chicago Marathon Alumni Runner Randy Burt. The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Michele Kerulis, EdD, LCPC.
Tuesday, October 6 The Bank of America Chicago Marathon has welcomed more than 800,000 runners across the finish line since the race’s debut in 1977. Thursday, October 8 Alexi Pappas, a 2016 Olympian for Greece, is familiar with the energy and enthusiasm of Chicago’s running community. She made her marathon debut on the streets of Chicago in 2018 and left her mark on the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K with back-to-back wins in 2015 and 2016. Off the roads, she is a creative force to be reckoned with, co-creating and staring in two critically acclaimed feature films. Friday, October 9 On race day, we converge on the streets of Chicago to create an experience unlike any other.
