Chicago Marathon/Osaka Marathon Athlete Exchange
The Chicago Marathon/Osaka Marathon Athlete Exchange program started in 2012 as a way to recognize the long-standing relationship between the two races and sister cities. The exchange program offers the top two local athletes from each city the opportunity to build their running resumes with international race experience. This unique opportunity not only gives athletes the chance to showcase their talents on the global stage, but to experience a new culture and gain a new perspective.
