Runner Tracking

Runners_Pack 1

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is known for its spectator-friendly course, as runners start and finish in Grant Park, and run through neighborhoods that are easily accessable by foot or public transportation. As a spectator or fan, whether you're on the course, or following the race from home, there are multiple ways to track a runner's progress nearly every step of the way along the 26.2-mile route.

Runner Tracking Presented by Verizon Wireless
Verizon 09Spectators can electronically track multiple runners along the race course by receiving real-time updates via e-mail or text message throughout the race. Updates will be received as runners cross the 10K, halfway (13.1 miles) and 30K checkpoints, as well as the finish line.

Registration will be available online and at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo.
